Life on wings,

We long to fly away
From earthly things.
All that holds and hampers us,
All of the things that imprison us,
Our souls cry out, with a snare of doubt,
To be free of our anxiety.

Escaping the pain
That life can bring,
Rising above to heavenly heights,
Like wings of an eagle
Our souls take flight,
And in that place
We will see God's face,
And be lifted from anxiety.
