Haiti Benefit Concert - $8,000 Raised!

The Haiti Benefit Concert went well tonight!   The event was sponsored by Pilgrim Baptist Church.   The church's pastor, Rev. Terrence Porter, envisioned and organized the event.  Helping partners included: Seacoast Missionary Baptist Association Mass Choir; Northeast Signature Properties; Lunch Break of Red Bank; Aslan Youth Ministries; Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.; Red Bank Regional High School; Monmouth County Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Parker Health Clinic, Red Bank School District and the Pilgrim Community Development Corporation.

The Red Bank Middle School Auditorium provided a professional theater setting.   I performed my song, "Song For Haiti", and also sang the timeless orchestral arrangement of "How Great Thou Art".  Other performers included Holiday Express, The Anointed Sons, The Sea Coast Mass Choir, the Emmanuel Youth Choir, and many others. It was an awesome night! We raised over $8,000.00 for Haiti!  A great crowd, for a great cause!
